Our entire group was invited to a Lao dinner party, and you know we wouldn't miss that!
The meal began with a beautiful blessing by Buddhist nuns as they tied strings around our wrists. We ate on the floor in traditional Lao style and shared six dishes of traditional food - pork sausage, sticky rice, fried eggplant, chicken stew, noodles, and pork. We ate in small groups and ours was the only one to finish every dish - Team America is known as big eaters on this trip!
